The Making of Journal My Mission
About Us
We Make Journaling For Missionaries The Experience It Was Meant To Be:
Reflective. Spiritual. & Fun.
Our story starts with a young married couple who loved journaling on their missions. Kiley served in The Micronesia Guam Mission, and Junior served in the Philippines Cebu East
Mission. Like many missionaries, both struggled to update their journals as often as they would have liked. Their solutions? Kiley would write shorter entries that answered simple
questions about her day. Junior found himself purchasing several journals for different uses. One dedicated to entries about transfers and companions, another organized with images
and memorabilia, and another for recording spiritual experiences. Unsurprisingly, this option was a bit pricy. Then came the idea of creating missionary journals that contained all of the above!
Any returned missionary knows that serving the Lord is accompanied by some of the most spiritual and powerful experiences one will ever experience. That being said, don’t trust your
memory, trust your journal. As returned missionaries, we also know that days on the mission when updating a journal seems like a momentous task. We wanted a creation with various
brief prompts and page themes to take the stress out of journaling and replace it with fun. We hope our missionary journals will be something that helps missionaries see their growth
as they progress on their missions and as they reflect upon them afterward when they return home.
